DxO Optics Pro Surpasses 8,000 Modules
News
2012.08.30
August 29, 2012 - DxO Labs announces the immediate availability of DxO Optics Pro v7.5.4 for Mac and Windows, its image processing software of reference for all serious photographers. With this update, DxO Optics Pro 7 now supports the Pentax K-30 and the Sony DSC-RX100.
More than 8,000 DxO Optics Modules
Since the previous version, DxO Optics Pro v7.5.4 has added 400 new DxO Optics Modules for additional Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Samsung, Sigma, Sony and Tamron lenses for Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic Pentax and Sony cameras.
DxO Optics Pro surpasses the benchmark of 8,000 camera/lens combinations in its library. This unrivaled database allows DxO Optics Pro to automatically correct all lens defects - distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, lens softness - with an incomparable level of quality.
Developed in the laboratory following a scientific calibration process for all combinations of cameras and lenses, DxO Optics Modules contain tens of thousands of data points about the intrinsic limitations of each piece of equipment, resulting in corrections that are perfectly adapted to every image.
