The Fujifilm GFX100 II takes the crown for image-quality. Its new 102 MP 0.8X Crop Medium-Format CMOS II HS sensor delivers outstanding images that render ultra fine details with beautiful colors and stellar dynamic-range.
Its high resolution allows for the largest prints all the way to murals. Image noise is very low up to ISO 6400 and increases so slowly that the output remains usable until ISO 51200.
A best-in-class IBIS system provides 8-stops of efficiency and powers super-resolution capture of 400 MP images! A hybrid shutter and broad ISO range gives the GFX100 II one of the widest exposure-latitudes. It can achieve 8 FPS which gives it one of the highest throughput to date.
Performance is highly variable with autofocus ranging from fast to slow. While the camera is responsive, the shutter shows noticeable lag. This is a specialized camera that is not truly intended for speed yet truly delivers for high-resolution photography.
This Medium-Format Mirrorless Digital Camera packs a rich feature-set with plenty of customization points. Ergonomics are very good and adaptable to different styles of photography. Its detachable viewfinder is a beautiful 9.4 MP 0.64" EVF with 1X magnification, 100% coverage and an essential Eye-Start Sensor, while it boasts a large rear LCD and sizable Status LCD that is highly customizable.
The GFX100 II features dual control-dials in a durable weatherproof and freezeproof body. It is necessarily large and heavy with proportional lenses to support its huge 102 megapixels Medium-Format sensor. To print enormous images, no camera can match the Fujifilm GFX100 II.
