The Leica SL3-S is a Mirrorless Digital Camera with a Full-Frame sensor and a Leica L lens mount. Its 24 Megapixels CMOS sensor offers an ISO 100-200000 sensitivity range which is expandable to ISO 100-200000. This makes it possible to shoot hand-held in very low-light. With 24 MP of resolution, sharp prints are possible up to 25" x 16" at 240 DPI.
A builtin 5-Axis Image Stabilization mechanism allows the Leica SL3-S to compensate for camera shake with any mounted lens.
This camera features a hybrid shutter that can expose for 1/16000 to 1m. With a fastest shutter-speed of 1/16000, fast action can easily be frozen. Night photography is possible using this digital camera due to its long exposure capability. This camera model offers Full Manual Controls.
The Leica SL3-S features a 779-point Phase-Detect AF system. Autofocus can continuously adjust according to subject distance. A Real-Time Autofocus Tracking System allows focus to follow a moving subject within the frame. Manual Focus is also available.
Rare triple control-dials are featured on this digital camera, giving the efficient direct control over every exposure-parameter needed by professional photographers. The weatherproof construction of this digital camera protects it against adverse weather, dust and moisture. This particular model is also freezeproof down to -10C. Framing on the Leica SL3-S is performed via a 0.50" Built-in EVF with 5.8 Megapixels. This extra large EVF has 0.76X magnification and shows 100% coverage.
