Sigma A 50mm F/1.4 DG DN Launched

Today Sigma added another 50mm prime lens to their Art series. The new Sigma A 50mm F/1.4 DG DN follows other A lenses with its premium optics that aim for the ultimate image-quality. This latest version is now designed exclusively for Full-Frame Mirrorless Digital Cameras and is released for Sony E and Leica L mounts.
Likewise for such high-end lenses, Sigma used all their latest technologies in the design of this lens. Optically, expect stellar performance which the Art series is already famous for. This model comes with a manual aperture ring and an AF-L button plus it has a declicable aperture. Build quality is equally premium. Its weatherproof body weighs 670g which is lighter than most similar lenses, likely due to its mirrorless design.
Despite its premium performance, Sigma is keeping this lens relatively affordable at $850 USD or $1000 CAD. It is already possible to pre-order this from Adorama and B&H Photo.
