MindShift Introduces SidePath and TrailScape Camera Backpacks

MindShift continues their tradition of producing unique photography bags for outdoor and nature photographers with two new additions to their lineup.

The MindShift SidePath is an ultra-light-weight day pack with made of high-grade materials. It features a padded camera compartment of rear opening for greater safety and large outer compartment for non-photographic items. A wide breathable harness is designed to make it comfortable for an entire day of activity.

The camera compartment of the MindShift SidePath offers enough space for a high-end DSLR with bright medium zoom lens attached or a mirrorless system camera with one or two lenses. The rear zippered compartment has room for a 10" tablet or 1.5L hydration pack plus extra supplies needed for a day trip. There are two stretch water-bottle pouches plus a tripod mounting system.

The SidePath is constructed for extreme water resistance. All exterior fabric has a water-repellent coating and the underside a polyurethane coating. Specifications of this backpack are as follows:

The MindShift TrailScape 18L is a mid-size backpack mainly dedicated to photography gear. It's large main compartment can hold a good amount of photography gear, while another even fits a 13" laptop or large tablet.

MindShift designed the TrailScape 18L with an interior compartment which opens entirely to allow easy access to potentially heavy gear. It can easily carry a high-end DSLR with 4 to 6 professional lenses, including a 70-200mm F/2.8 with the hood mounting in shooting position. One can fit two large mirrorless cameras with up to 7 lenses or a combination of DSLR and mirrorless gear.

There is a tripod mounting system on both sides of the bag which also features water-bottle pouches with cinch cords. A dedicated smartphone pocket near the top of the bag provides quick access to a phone or other small item. There are plenty of interior pockets to keep things organized.

The TrailScape 18L fabric offers the same coatings as the SidePath which makes it highly water-resistant. A seam-sealed rain-cover is also included for when conditions because extreme. Here are specifications for the TrailScape 18L:
