MindShift Gear Unveils Adventure Photo Backpack

This morning MindShift Gear revealed their most ambitious camera bag since the original launch of the Rotation 360 series. The new backpack is targeted at outdoor enthusiasts as a complete solution to carry photography and a variety of outdoor gear comfortably.
The new Backlight Elite 45L is a backback with a unique and highly versatile design. Its main large compartment protects a large amount of photographic gear which is accessed by the rear of the pack to for security. A secondary front-opening compartment carries personal items and accessories, while a third removal one at the top can carry smaller items. This backpack is covered with attachments and anchor points to support a while variety of gear from a tripod to an ice ax!
As the name suggests, this bag offers 45L of storage in total from internal compartments, plus what it can attach and fit in the side stretch-pocket. The removable belt also has its own storage and attachment points for lens or filter carrying solutions (sold separately). The removable top compartment can instead of attached to the belt to serve as a small pack for non-photographic gear.
The MindShift Gear Backlight Elite 45L is made of highly durable materials, including waterproof and tearproof sailcloth. All surfaces and zippers are weatherproof plus covered in rubber to make them storm resistant. Its base is made of very durable and completely waterproof tarpaulin. A dedicated seam-sealed rain cover adds more protection in case of heavy downpour. Mindshift gave the Elite 45L a soft quick-dry rear panel and an internal aluminium frame to keep the back rigid.
This backpack offers enormous capacity. It stores a large DSLR with up to 7 lenses or few large ones, including the 70-200mm F/2.8 offers from all major brands. There is a dedicated compartment for a 17" laptop and 10" tablet. The additional front pockets total 17L for personal gear. It has space for a hydration pack (not included) and 2 large (32oz) water bottles, one on each side.

Give it size slightly exceeds the height of most carry-on which is 22", the Backlight Elite 45L cleverly can lose the top compartment or remove the entire padded photography gear compartment which has its own emergency shoulder straps.
