Zuiko Zuiko 50mm F/2 Macro Lens

The Zuiko Zuiko 50mm F/2 Macro is a short telephoto prime designed for cameras with a Four-Thirds (2X) sensor. This bright prime has a 50mm focal-length. It provides the same field of view as a 100mm lens on a Full-Frame camera.

This prime lens focuses down to 24cm from the imaging plane, capturing subject with a maximum 0.52X magnification. The moderate manification of the Zuiko Zuiko 50mm F/2 Macro makes it capable of closeup photography. The lens offers a Quick-Shift AF system which lets the user simply rotate the focus-ring to focus manually. A built-in focus motor is used to set the focus-distance. It allowed Zuiko to optimize the motor precisely for this lens in order to maximize performance.

The lens weighs 300g. Its body is weatherproof against adverse weather such as rain and snow. Seals in key areas prevent entry of water and dust.

This lens is only available for the Four-Thirds mount. It directly attaches and is fully compatible with all Four-Thirds mount cameras.
